The Coronation Charm

With one of the most memorable, historical moments of our time just around the corner; the Coronation of King Charles Ill, we wanted to shine a light on the breath-taking Coronation Crown that inspired Annoushka’s latest charm.

Dating back to 1661 when it was commissioned from the Royal Goldsmith, Robert Vyner, the incredible 22 carat gold St Edward's Crown is iconic of The Crown Jewels. Weighing nearly 5lbs with Baroque arches, the crown has only ever been worn by six monarchs with the late Queen Elizabeth Il being the last to wear it in 1953.

It glistens with 444 precious and semi-precious gemstones including crystal blue aquamarines, rubies, sapphires, garnets and tourmalines.

As per tradition, King Charles Ill will wear the crown when he is officially declared King on May 6th, 2023, at Westminster Abbey. This will be the first and only time in regal history that he will ever wear this crown.

To commemorate and celebrate this momentous occasion, Annoushka has designed a limited-edition Coronation Locket Charm.

Slightly less weighty but by no means no less special, our Crown Charm is handcrafted in 18ct yellow and white gold with a high polish and textured finish. The purple cap is represented with a 9.46ct central carved amethyst and is surrounded by emeralds, sapphires, rubies, amethysts, and diamonds.

The ermine fur trim is replicated by the textured

rim at its base.

True to Annoushka’s love of hidden detail and elements of surprise, the charm base engraved with the Coronation date in Roman numbers, opens to reveal a hidden chamber for treasuring your special mementos.

Capturing the majestic and exquisite detail of the greatest jewels of all time, there are just 100 limited editions of the locket made, each numbered and hallmarked with the official Coronation Hallmark. Behold a true piece of history in the palm of your hands and commemorate this new era with a collectable charm to add to your collection.
