Annoushka Ducas MBE is one of the country’s leading fine jewellery designers who founded her eponymous jewellery company – Annoushka in 2009. Annoushka had previously founded Links of London which she sold in 2006. Annoushka is passionate about design and jewels. Her finely crafted jewellery is full of colour, detail, and narrative, and is designed as an expression of personal identity for the wearer. Story telling is at the heart of what Annoushka does.

The Opportunity

Annoushka is looking to recruit a Data Scientist to support Management by delivering accurate reporting and actionable insights across many areas of the business, including digital marketing, retail and CRM. This role will involve turning data from multiple sources into valuable insights, enabling these departments to make informed, data-led decisions. Identification of adverse trends and opportunities is a key element of this role.

Key Result Areas:

  • You will provide accurate sales and product reporting on a daily and weekly basis, with narratives on trend.
  • Working with team leaders to create and amend a KPI hierarchy to drive and measure performance towards the goals of the business.
  • Liaising with data partners to create a data road map and to troubleshoot data integrity.
  • You will drive a test & learn culture, being an ambassador of data and insight driven decision making. This will involve designing hypotheses and tests to allow for statistically measurable results, delivering forecasts, measuring the outcome and relaying recommendations to the relevant stakeholders.
    • You will collaborate with various teams by providing insights and analyses on:
      CRM team, delivering information that will maximise customer value, retention and campaign ROI.
    • Digital marketing team:
      • optimising product, brand, territories and campaigns to maximise ROAS.
      • optimising content formats and campaigns to maximise content traffic, acquisition and engagement.
    • Product team: assessing and evaluating the impact of product performance on site and in store.

What you will bring:

  • You excel in analysing large data sets, and enjoy identifying insights, trends and opportunities.
  • You are a problem solver who is able to dissect complex business problems and find innovative ways to deliver a solution.
  • You are a strong communicator, simplifying complex data into compelling and insightful stories.
  • You have experience presenting insights and recommendations in a structured and clear way using data storytelling and visualisation tools.
  • You are a confident and advanced user of Excel and have strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Be able to work with Sales Force Commerce Cloud
  • A flexibility to be able to work with our legacy systems.
  • An approach that fosters a customer centric approach.
  • An understanding that we will use data to enhance our human-to-human customer relationships.

In this call we will be asking you to take us deeper into your CV and to get to know you as well as answer any questions you may have.

Technical interview with one of our partners

Final Selection via Zoom or in person with the Chairman, Managing Director and E Commerce and Marketing Director
