Job Purpose

As our Jewellery Service Specialist, you will be required to take full ownership of customer and in house repairs and alterations. Building positive customer relationships is an essential part of this role. You will have experience at the bench, and also have the personality to engage positively with clients. Attention to detail is essential, along with good organizational skills.

You will be working as part of our sales team in our Cadogan Gardens boutique, and as such your role will also be a sales role.



Your 3 Key Result Areas

  • Building positive relationships with customers.
  • Processing repairs and alterations in line with our service standards.
  • Developing this area of the business into a profit centre.


Jewellery Repairs and Alterations.


  • Receive and assess repairs and alterations from our stores and web site.
  • Decide on the best course of action on how to process the items.
  • Manage the process from receipt to return ensuring time targets are met.
  • You will be store based, reporting to our Boutique manager, and will be required to serve our customers as one of the boutique team.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of designing, making & repairing jewellery.
  • Experience in communicating complex technical information to clients.

Sales

  • Strong sales flare; evidence of exceeding goals and targets.
  • Excellent client service and sales delivered through omnichannel retail.
  • Proactivity, pre-empting client needs.
  • Full engagement with social media.

Team Work

  • True team player spirit – keen to share the credit with the team.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead, motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels within the company.

Qualifications Knowledge and Experience:

Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Influencing and communication skills.

Excellent technical knowledge of designing, making & repairing jewellery.

Experience in communicating complex technical information to clients.

Good understanding of the commercial production process.

Organized, with the ability to work under pressure to tight time lines.

Face to Face Interview (via Zoom)

With our Boutique Manager, in which we will ask you to talk about your experience and seek to discover how that will relate to this role. We will ask you to tell us why you think this role will be a great fit for you, and we will give you opportunity to ask us any questions about the company and the role.

A second interview will take place for shortlisted candidates with our Regional Manager (face to face, socially distanced), in which we will ask you to demonstrate your technical knowledge, and approach to sales and service.
