The Role

Annoushka is looking for a new Head of eCommerce to drive our ambitious digital sales goals, taking full ownership of our ambition to increase revenues by 60% over the next 3 years.



Job Purpose

  • As Head of eCommerce you will be tasked with delivering growth and will have overall responsibility for the sales and profit line on all of our digital platforms.
  • You will provide expertise on current e-commerce industry best practice, with a strong CRO focus.
  • Positively impact and influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Communicate and influence effectively both internally and externally.


Key Areas

  • Trade
    • An ability to read, interpret and question the numbers to drive activity along the growth curve, whilst demonstrating a sympathetic creative eye.
    • You will drive the trading calendar on-site and be a key player in developing a clear and focused company wide trading plan.
    • You will plan and manage the digital budget with a clear focus on customer retention and acquisition.
    • Continually review and develop online channels, to maximise sales and customer experience. This includes third party web sites.
    • Build on and improve the overall customer experience, including site experience, customer service, and logistics standards.
  • Strategy and Leadership
    • You will be a strategic force in the business and will be a key player in building the marketing strategy.
    • You will own the digital marketing strategy across all channels including PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display, Paid Social and CRM.
    • You will lead and develop our team to create a vibrant rewarding culture in which to work.
    • Lead eCommerce projects with an omnichannel mindset.
  • Site Development
    • You will develop the ecommerce strategy and roadmap.
    • Drive site optimisation across desktop, mobile and tablet.
    • You will conduct regular competitive analysis of our online competitors.
    • Continually test, learn and improve the customer journey.
  • Affiliations
    • Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the ecommerce.
    • You will be well connected within a network of relevant peers, so that you are tuned to the latest developments and market challenges.
    • You will monitor developing e-commerce technology trends, evaluate business opportunities, recommend, and execute new initiatives, identifying new areas of opportunity beyond current organisational thinking.
    • You will positively impact internal stake holders, to ensure they are fully versed and contributing to the digital strategy.

You will bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • A CRO methodology that is at the heart of everything you do.
  • A creative and instinctive approach to the role, whilst using data to identify and validate issues and opportunities.
  • Experience working with direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands
  • Strong leadership skills which means providing clear direction to your team alongside an ability to coach, develop and motivate.
  • Great knowledge / experience with analytical / CRO tools like Google Analytics, HotJar etc
  • An impatience to get things done and an ability to manage projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Intellectual and emotional intelligence in balanced / equal measure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuasively sell ideas.
